Building work had taken place at the offices of a long standing customer in Milton Keynes. The computer room had been largely isolated from the work but when it was finished, the time came to install new equipment and remove old kit.
Due to the refurbishment work that had been carried out at the customer, the computer room was looking a little neglected. We were asked to install a new server cabinet, move the servers to the cabinet, install new network equipment then remove any old equipment that was no longer required.
To ensure the work we carried out would cause no disruption to the customer, we arranged to do it during a weekend. We decided it was an ideal opportunity to refresh the computer room, so the first thing we did was paint the walls and clean the floor. Only then did we install the new cabinet, severs and network equipment.
When the customer entered their computer room on Monday morning, they were gratefully surprised to be greeted with fresh paint and a beautifully tidy room.
